    AceShowbiz – Juice WRLD’s posthumous album “Legends Never Die” spends its second week atop Billboard 200 chart. The album continues to rule the chart after earning 162,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending July 23, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
    Following it up at No. 2 is Pop Smoke’s former leader “Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon”. The set is a non-mover as it earns 138,000 equivalent album units. This arrives after it was reissued on July 20, which is also the late rapper’s birthday, with 15 additional tracks.
    Meanwhile, The Chicks’ (Dixie Chicks) new album “Gaslighter” opens with 84,000 equivalent album units that earns the trio a spot at No. 3 in this week’s chart. Of the sum, 71,000 is coming from album sales. Additionally, the album is dubbed the best-selling album of the week, bowing at No. 1 on the Album Sales chart.
    Occupying No. 4 is “Hamilton: An American Musical”, which falls from No. 3 after earning 78,000 equivalent album units. Also experiencing a decrease this week is Lil Baby’s “My Turn” as it dips from No. 4 to No. 5 with 57,000 units.
    Thanks to its deluxe reissue on July 17, Jhene Aiko’s “Chilombo” jumps back into the Top 10. It bounces significantly from No. 43 to No. 6 after earning 50,000 equivalent album units. As for Post Malone’s “Hollywood’s Bleeding”, it falls from No. 5 to No. 7 with 34,000 equivalent album units earned.
    Rounding out the Top 10 are DaBaby’s “Blame It on Baby”, Harry Styles’ “Fine Line” and The Weeknd’s “After Hours”. “Blame It on Baby” decreases from No. 6 to No. 8 with 32,000 equivalent album units. “Fine Line” shifts from No. 7 to No. 9 with 29,000 equivalent album units, while “After Hours” is narrowly out of Top 10 after earning 27,000 equivalent album units.

    AceShowbiz – Juice WRLD has joined an elite U.S. chart club after becoming one of only three acts to land five songs in the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 in the same week.
    The late rapper, who died in December (19), matches The Beatles and Drake by picking up half the top 10 with songs like “Come & Go”, which debuts at two, and “Wishing Well” at five.
    The tragic star’s posthumous album, “Legends Never Die”, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 countdown on Sunday, July 19.

    DaBaby scores the top spot on the Hot 100 for a sixth week with his Roddy Ricch collaboration “Rockstar”, while Jack Harlow’s “Whats Poppin”, featuring DaBaby, Tory Lanez and Lil Wayne, holds at three and The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” slides two spots to four.

    AceShowbiz – Juice WRLD has landed a Transatlantic chart double from beyond the grave after debuting his posthumous album, “Legends Never Die”, at number one on the Billboard 200.
    The late rapper’s new release topped the U.K. charts on Friday, July 17 and now it has rocketed to number one in the U.S. with the biggest sales week of 2020. The album grabbed equivalent sales of 497,000.
    “Legends Never Die” is Juice WRLD’s second number one album in the U.S., following the success of last year’s “Death Race for Love”, which topped the Billboard 200 in March, 2019. The new album is the first release of new music from the rapper since his death in December.
    Juice WRLD replaces another late rapper, Pop Smoke, at number one. “Shoot for the Stars” falls to two, marking the first time two posthumous releases have scored the top two spots.
    The original Broadway cast recording of “Hamilton: An American Musical” falls to three, while Lil Baby’s “My Turn” and “Hollywood’s Bleeding” by Post Malone complete the new top five.

    AceShowbiz – Tragic rapper Juice WRLD is poised for a chart return with the release of his first posthumous album this Friday, July 10.
    The “Lucid Dreams” MC passed away from an accidental overdose in December (19), and on Monday, label bosses at Grade A Productions and Interscope Records revealed fans would soon get to hear some of the hip-hop star’s final recordings on his upcoming project, “Legends Never Die”.
    They also unveiled the single “Life Is a Mess”, which features Juice reunited with pop star Halsey, with whom he had worked on the remix to her “Without Me” hit last year.

    Officials had previously shared the posthumous songs “Righteous” and “Tell Me U Luv Me”.
    Meanwhile, label executives are celebrating the launch of “Legends Never Die” with a special merchandise line, in collaboration with bosses at gaming firm FaZe Clan, to remember Juice’s passion for video games and paintballing.
    The rapper’s manager, Peter Jideonwo, tells Billboard: “Juice really loved gaming and loved the FaZe guys. They did an amazing job on this merch line and we are so glad to see this collaboration is coming out in honour of Legends Never Die.”

    Juice WRLD Gets Animated in Music Video for First Posthumous Song

    The ‘Lucid Dreams’ hitmaker is brought to life as a cartoon character as he’s fighting his demons in a music video to support his first posthumous single called ‘Righteous’.

    AceShowbiz – Late rapper Juice WRLD leaves the Earth and flies off into the galaxy in the new music video for his first posthumous release, “Righteous”.
    The new track debuted on Friday, April 24, 2020, with the emotive slow burner packed with references to pills, demons, and “anxiety the size of a planet.”
    Alongside the new release, the first since the “Lucid Dreams” star, real name Jarad Higgins, died after suffering a seizure just six days after turning 21 last December 2019, a music video for the tune also dropped, featuring footage of the hitmaker working in the studio, performing onstage, and kissing his girlfriend, before it turns into an animated adventure in which Juice fights his demons.
    After overcoming his struggles in the clip, the video ends with the words “Legends Never Die” scrawled across the screen.

    “Righteous” was announced on Thursday in a tweet from the rapper’s family and team explaining, “Juice was a prolific artist who dedicated his life to making music. Choosing how to share his upcoming music with the world has been no easy feat.”
    “Honouring the love Juice felt for his fans while shining a light on his talents and his spirit are the most important parts of this process to us… Tonight we will be releasing a song called ‘Righteous’ which Juice made from his home studio in Los Angeles. We hope you enjoy this new music and continue to keep Juice’s spirit alive.”
