Rihanna Trolls Fans Asking Her About New Album

    Instagram

Fans are not the only ones who are eager to listen to the Fenty founder’s new music as Ariana Grande reveals in a new interview that she can’t wait for Rihanna’s new album.
    May 14, 2020
AceShowbiz – Fans have been pestering Rihanna about the release of her new album since it has been 4 years since she released her latest album “ANTI”. They have been asking the singer about it at any given chance and recently, the “Umbrella” hitmaker responded to some of the inquiries on her Instagram account.
This started after a fan wrote in the comment section underneath Rih’s recent Instagram post, “WHERES THE ALBUM.” Rihanna noticed the comment and hilariously replied, “I lost it,” adding a shrug emoji.
That was not the only comment that Rih responded to. She playfully asked her fandom, The Navy, to come at someone whom she said was responsible of the album delay. “DON’T DROP DAT ALBUM,” the person wrote, to which Rih replied, “Navy this who to blame. right here look.”

Fans were not the only ones who were eager to listen to the Fenty founder’s new music. Just like others, Ariana Grande revealed in a new interview that she couldn’t wait for Rihanna’s new album. “I get it, I appreciate it, and I’m really glad that she’s putting in so much effort,” Ari said of waiting for the new album.
“It means a lot. But I also, really, I listen to Anti every day. Like, I think it’s time. I need it. Sorry, she’s gonna, like, hate me for saying that but I want it so bad,” she continued.
Rihanna previously talked about when will she release the album in an interview with British Vogue. “I can’t say when I’m going to drop,” she explained. “But I am very aggressively working on music.”
“I don’t want my albums to feel like themes.. there are no rules. There’s no format. There’s just good music, and if I feel it, I’m putting it out,” she added. “I feel like I have no boundaries. I’ve done everything — I’ve done all the hits, I’ve tried every genre — now I’m just, I’m wide open. I can make anything that I want.”

    May 13, 2020
AceShowbiz – Londoner Rihanna has pipped Sir Elton John to third place on a new list of Britain’s richest musicians thanks to the success of her lingerie and cosmetics lines.
The “Umbrella” singer, who was born in Barbados but now lives in the U.K., raked in almost $576 million (£468 million) last year to land third place on the Sunday Times’ annual list of wealthy hitmakers, behind Andrew Lloyd Webber and Sir Paul McCartney, who share the top spot with $980 million (£800 million) apiece.
Elton comes in fourth place with a not-too-shabby $441,000 (£360 million) and Sir Mick Jagger rounds out the 2020 top five with $349 million (£285 million).
Keith Richards and Ringo Starr also make the top 10, as do Sting, Ed Sheeran and Sir Rod Stewart, who all tie for the 10th spot.

Report: Rihanna's New Documentary to Expose Her Fallout With Jay-Z and Beyonce

    Instagram/https://www.beyonce.com/

Titled ‘Rihanna: Volume One’, the upcoming documentary, which is directed by Peter Berg, will allegedly chronicle her problem with her manager at Roc Nation and Jay-Z, as well as her breakup from Hassan Jameel.
    May 5, 2020
AceShowbiz – A new Rihanna documentary is on the way. Reports about the project titled “Rihanna: Volume One” surfaced over the weekend after production company Film 45 accidentally leaked about it on its website.
In a screenshot taken and shared by a fan Twitter account, the company posted a photo of the Barbadian songstress singing in the studio along with a tagline which read, “Coming soon: An inside look at the personal and professional life of Rihanna.”
According to the tweet, the documentary will be directed by Peter Berg, who directed Rih in 2012’s “Battleship”, for Amazon Video. The Twitter user also included a now-broken link to Film 45’s website, which provided detailed synopsis of the project.
The synopsis reportedly read, “Peter Berg’s bold and innovative ‘Rihanna’ is an unfiltered look into Rihanna’s life, providing a glimpse into the evolution of one of the world’s most well-known pop artists. With unparalleled access into the singer’s life and over 1200 hours of footage, the doc takes us on a journey through private insights into Rihanna’s personality and humor, philosophies on work, family and love that are both moving and inspirational.”
Per The Hollywood Reporter, “Rihanna: Volume One” compiles various footage Berg captured while traveling alongside the “Diamonds” hitmaker in Europe. Amazon reportedly paid $25 to acquire rights to the documentary.
Meanwhile, according to MTO News, the documentary would be an explosive one, with the 32-year-old R&B superstar airing out her alleged feud with Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles. According to the site’s source, Rih had a fallout with the famous couple after her album “Anti” leaked prematurely, which she blamed on Jay-Z’s streaming platform Tidal.
The hip-hop mogul and Tidal had explained that the leak was due to “system error,” but the “Umbrella” songstress allegedly accused the rapper of leaking her album behind her back to prop up his wife Beyonce’s album “Formation”.
The site adds that the upcoming documentary will also focus on Rih’s strained relationship with her father and detail her relationship and eventual breakup with Saudi billionaire Hassan Jameel.

    Mar 27, 2020
AceShowbiz – Rihanna’s long-awaited music comeback is finally here. On Friday, March 27, the Barbadian songstress surprised her fans by announcing the release of her collaboration with PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “Believe It”. She tweeted, “Believe it!! @partynextdoor album live!!!” along with a snippet of the music.
The new song, which has been made available for listening pleasure on YouTube and music streaming platforms, is a groove-filled slow jam that features Rihanna’s vocals at various points on the song. “Believe It” marks Rihanna’s first new music in three years. She previously teamed up with PND on her Drake-assisted single “Work”, which the Canadian singer/songwriter co-wrote.
“Believe It” is part of PND’s upcoming album “Partymobile”, his first album in four years, which was unveiled on Thursday at midnight via OVO Sound. The 15-track set also boasts a Drake collaboration, “Loyal”, which has spanned a remix.
Rihanna, meanwhile, was last featured in a single in 2017, when she appeared on N.E.R.D’s epic “Lemon”, Future’s “Selfish”, DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Loyalty”. Her last album “ANTI” debuted in 2016.
Her fans have since eagerly anticipated for her new album, which is dubbed “R9”. In October, she teased her upcoming new album, “I like to look at it as a reggae-inspired or reggae-infused album. It’s not gonna be typical of what you know as reggae. But you’re going to feel the elements in all of the tracks.”
