AceShowbiz – Sam Neill has treated his fans to a number of fun duet performances with Jeff Goldblum. Enjoying a day off from the filming of “Jurassic World: Dominion”, the “Peaky Blinders” star took to social media to share videos of him and his longtime co-star goofing off in front of a piano as they delivered classics medley.
On Monday, September 7, the 72-year-old actor made use of his Twitter account to post a clip of him sitting side-by-side with the “Independence Day: Resurgence” actor as they covered the 1962 hit “I Remember You”. Along with the over-one-minute video, he tweeted, “I Remember You #JeffGoldblum.”

Sam Neill shared a video of him singing ‘I Remember You’ with Jeff Goldblum.
Sam went on to upload another video in a follow-up tweet. This time, the clip captured him crooning Kurt Weill’s “September Song” while his co-star, who is known for his portrayal of Dr. Ian Malcolm, provided back-up vocals. “Another #JamWithJeff,” he jokingly noted. “Hers the thing- #JeffGoldblum flatly refuses to rehearse. So every time is the first time.”

Sam Neill shared a video of him singing ‘September Song’ with Jeff Goldblum.
In addition to the tweets, the Dr. Alan Grant depicter made use of Instagram to offer more of their collaboration. Covering “Swing Time” musical number’s “A Fine Romance” in one post, he teased, “Jammin’ with Jeff. It’s a day off. So we’ve been singing a bunch of old songs. Jeff won’t practice, so it’s first go or nothing. @jeffgoldblum makes me laugh immoderately. He is also a prodigy.”

Another Instagram clip saw Sam and Jeff belting out “I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face” from “My Fair Lady”. They occasionally cracked jokes in between their singing. “Jeff Jammin’ . More from the #LoungeGoldblum on this day off,” Sam explained the footage. “Next time I will wear my shades too . I had a cool deficit … @jeffgoldblum.”

The rare duets between Sam and Jeff were met with positive responses. One Instagram user raved, “So great seeing you two legends back together again. Both rather good musicians too. Cheered me up seeing you both having a great time.” Another one commented on the last shared video, “Great ending !!! What a bromance . . floatsom and jeffsam !!” A third gushed, “That was the best thing to wake up to ever!”

  • 'Jurassic World: Dominion' Star Sam Neill Self-Isolating After Crew Test Positive for Covid-19

    Instagram

Rumor has it, the coronavirus outbreak among the crew members has prompted producers to hold crisis talks as the movie resumes production in the United Kingdom.
    Jul 11, 2020
AceShowbiz – Sam Neill has voluntarily gone into quarantine after entering the U.K. to film “Jurassic World: Dominion”, amid reports members of the crew have tested positive for Covid-19.
The British government has waived quarantine restrictions for those working on major Hollywood productions in the country in a bid to let productions get underway as quickly as possible this month (Jul20).
However, Sam says he is still spending 14 days in quarantine, despite travelling from largely Covid-free New Zealand due to his sense of fair play.
“I feel it’s incumbent upon me to do so,” he tells The Guardian. “It’s only fair.”
His decision comes amid a report that members of the crew have tested positive for the virus ahead of shooting at Pinewood Studios, potentially putting a quick start to filming in jeopardy.
A source tells The Sun, “This was the last thing anyone expected so soon. Everyone was excited about getting things back up and running on set but this has totally derailed that. There are millions and millions of pounds at stake here. Nobody wants more long delays.”
As a result, producers, who have put in place stringent testing and measures aimed at keeping the set safe, are reportedly holding crisis talks.
Sam, who has delighted fans with social media videos posted from his farm in New Zealand during lockdown reveals to The Guardian that the crisis has put things in perspective – even if he thinks world leaders haven’t handled matters well.
“The full-blown crisis was strangely energising,” he adds. “I’ve spoken to people who are missing lockdown; they liked being at home, and now we’re in this no man’s land where no one knows, and we’re getting mixed messages from people in charge. There’s the human impulse to think: ‘Well, that’s done and dusted.’ And, of course, it isn’t.”
“Jurassic World: Dominion”, which also stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Jeff Goldblum, is due for release next June.

    WENN/Nicky Nelson

In the two-minute film titled ‘Das Fone Hell’, the ‘Ocean’s 8’ actress portrays an annoyed iPhone belonging to the ‘Jurassic Park’ star after being left behind for 10 minutes.
    May 25, 2020
AceShowbiz – Actress Helena Bonham Carter and “Jurassic Park” star Sam Neill have teamed up for a new lockdown-themed short movie, “Das Fone Hell”.
The funny two-minute film, which Neill posted to his Instagram page, features Carter portraying Neill’s iPhone – which is very upset to be left behind for 10 minutes when Neill goes out to get groceries.
“This profound and heartbreakingly candid insight into Modern Life will shake you to the core,” Neill joked of the clip.
“Think very carefully what might’ve happened in those 10 minutes,” Carter scolds Neill in the clip. “The Kardashians could’ve had another baby. Ariana Grande could’ve dropped a single. Trump could’ve bombed Beijing for ratings….”

It’s not the first project of its kind for Neill, who posted a similar feature, called “Das Underachiever”, featuring “The Matrix” star Hugo Weaving, last week (ends May 22).
“We all know SOMEONE so has been annoyingly productive in lockdown – multiply that and … see what follows (sic)…,” he teased of that film.
