Sources claim that MTV Entertainment and the embattled couple mutually agree to pause production for the show’s upcoming season 4 after starting its filming in Atlanta in December 2020.

    Feb 6, 2021
AceShowbiz – It has been reported that the filming for “T.I.& Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle” has been put on hold amid sexual abuse allegations leveled at T.I. and Tiny (Tameka Cottle). Spokesperson for MTV Entertainment announced the decision in a statement on Friday, February 5.
“We are aware of the allegations, and while they are not connected to our show, we have reached out to T.I. and Tameka Harris, as well as local and state officials,” the spokesperson said. “Given the serious nature of the allegations, we have decided to suspend production in order to gather more information.”
Sources claimed that MTV and the embattled couple mutually agreed to pause production for the show’s upcoming season 4 after starting its filming in Atlanta in December 2020. Additionally, they allegedly had put on hold the previously announced plans to premiere season 4 this spring.

T.I. and Tiny made headlines after Tiny’s former friend Sabrina Petersen came forward with assault allegations leveled at T.I. in January. She claimed that the rapper once put a gun to her head in front of her children. She also shared T.I.’s other alleged victims’ accounts of their experiences of sexual abuse at the hands of the hip-hop couple.
Additionally, she accused him of sex trafficking with other women, including minors. To back her up, there were over 15 women came forward with their similar experiences with the couple as one of them described T.I. as an “absolute monster who uses money and power to manipulate people and Tiny is his secret weapon.” It was also reported that one of the accusers hired Lisa Bloom to represent her in this case.
T.I. and Tiny later issued a joint statement on January 29, shutting down the mounting allegations leveled at them. “Mr. and Mrs. Harris want to be on record and more importantly want the public to know they emphatically deny in the strongest way possible the egregiously appalling allegations being made against them by Sabrina Peterson,” the statement read.
“The Harrises have had difficulty with this woman for well over a decade. They are taking this matter very seriously, and if these allegations don’t end, they will take appropriate legal action,” the statement continued.

  • T.I. Insists He's Not Dissing Drake With Urinating Lines: 'I Ain't Had No Malicious Intent'

    WENN/FayesVision/Euan Cherry

In an interview with Apple Music’s Rap Life Radio, the ‘No Mediocre’ rapper is confused over how people can take his line on ‘We Did It Big’ as a diss directed at the Canadian superstar.

    Oct 24, 2020
AceShowbiz – T.I. recently made headlines when he confirmed the story of his late friend, Terrance Beasley a.k.a. Cap, urinating Drake at a private movie screening via his new album “The L.I.B.R.A”. People were convinced that the “No Mediocre” rapper was dissing the Canadian superstar with the lines, but he has since insisted in an interview that he was not throwing jabs at him.
During an interview with Apple Music’s Rap Life Radio with Ebro Darden, T.I. made it clear he had no malicious intent with the lines, saying that he was mad at Cap when that happened. He said, “I shut all that s**t down. I didn’t wanna be part of something that was a harmless incident. … I didn’t want it to be weaponized against anybody … I was pissed off at my partner when it happened … The wildest s**t I’ve ever seen before in my f**king life. You know what I’m saying?”

“But that s**t, I ain’t had no malicious intent,” the “Ant-Man and the Wasp” star added. “I just don’t see how it could ever be taken as a diss. I don’t see how that could be. That would be someone allowing their emotions to manipulate them, if so.”
T.I. confirmed the long-running rumors on track “We Did It Big” featuring John Legend. “Caught a body, spent millions appealin’ your case,” he raps. “While I’m fightin’ my own, somehow got you home/ So drunk in L.A., end up pissin’ on Drake, s**t/F**k it, that’s still my brother since back in the trap house.”
Drake apparently did not appreciate what his fellow rapper revealed on the song because days after his album hit the store, T.I. is no longer on the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker’s following list on Instagram.

  • T.I. Cites 'Generation Gap' for Turning Down Busta Rhymes' Rap Battle Challenge

    Instagram/WENN

The Grand Hustle rapper explains why he refused to accept Busta Rhymes’ rap-off challenge, claiming that the ‘I Know What You Want’ hitmaker is too old to become his opponent.

    Oct 23, 2020
AceShowbiz – Rapper T.I. has turned down Busta Rhymes’ challenge for a rap-off on “Verzuz”, insisting the “I Know What You Want” hitmaker is too old.
Busta invited T.I. to join him on Swizz Beatz and Timbaland’s online initiative, which pits rappers and singers with similar backgrounds and fan bases against each other, during a recent chat with Fat Joe, telling the “Live Your Life” star, “I’ma bust your a** (sic).”
T.I. has been quick to respond, but his wannabe opponent might not like what the Georgia-based rapper has to say.

“Busta’s one of the most phenomenal talents of our time, man,” he said. “I salute and respect Busta a whole lot. I just think the generational gap might be a little too much.”
T.I. isn’t against appearing on “Verzuz” – he challenged 50 Cent to a rap battle over the summer, but the “In Da Club” star never responded. T.I. has also challenged Jeezy to a rap-off, but that has yet to materialise. Jeezy has responded in a Twitter video, stating, “Put a date on it. I’m gonna beat you there.”
Since its inception earlier this year during lockdown, “Verzuz” has become a highly-anticipated online streaming show during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The episode of Brandy versus Monica was the most watched live stream webcast with over 1.2 Million views.
Other past battles included T-Pain vs Lil Jon, Erykah Badu vs Jill Scott, Nelly vs Ludacris, Alicia Keys vs John Legend, DMX vs Snoop Dogg, and Gladys Knight vs Patti LaBelle.

  • T.I. Confirms His Friend Peed on Drake in New Album, the Latter Unfollows Him

    WENN/FayesVision

Rumors of Terrance Beasley a.k.a. Cap urinating on the ‘Hotline Bling’ hitmaker were first started by Meek Mill, who rapped on ‘Wanna Know’, ‘You let Tip homie piss on you in a movie theater n***a, we ain’t forget.’

    Oct 19, 2020
AceShowbiz – Now that T.I. has confirmed a long-standing rumor surrounding him and Drake, it appears the latter has no reason to follow his fellow rapper any longer. The Canadian superstar hit the unfollow button on the “No Mediocre” rapper’s Instagram page after Tip revealed in his new album, “The L.I.B.R.A.”, that his friend did pee on Drake before.
Tip made the confession on his song, “We Did It Big”, featuring John Legend. “Caught a body, spent millions appealin’ your case,” he raps. “While I’m fightin’ my own, somehow got you home/ So drunk in L.A., end up pissin’ on Drake, s**t/F**k it, that’s still my brother since back in the trap house.”

Now, days after the album hit the stores, Tip is no longer on Drake’s following list.
Rumors of the incident first surfaced in public back in 2015, when Drake was in a full-blown beef with Meek Mill. Releasing a diss song called “Wanna Know”, the Philly rapper spitted on the tune, “You let Tip homie piss on you in a movie theater n***a, we ain’t forget/Real n***as back in style this s**t is lit/This that Ja Rule s**t and 50 Cent.”
Soon after Meek’s claims made headlines, sources explained that the incident occured during a private screening of “Takers” in 2010. Terrance Beasley a.k.a. Cap, who was killed in prison nearly a year ago, was allegedly highly intoxicated and began urinating on himself. Further reports suggested that he got into it with Drake and his crew, with some pee unintentionally getting on the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker.
Drake, learning of this, reportedly got up from his seat 30 minutes into the movie, cursing out and leaving the venue.

  • 50 Cent and T.I. Sparring on Social Media Over Proposed 'Versuz' Battle

    WENN

After Tip challenges the ‘Power’ star to face him in the next installment of the popular Instagram series, the ‘In da Club’ rapper makes fun of the ‘T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle’ star’s beard and music.
    Sep 4, 2020
AceShowbiz – 50 Cent and T.I. are trading jabs online after they were proposed as the next stars to face each other on “Versuz”. Seemingly up for the showdown, Tip challenged Fiddy by writing on Instagram on Thursday night, September 3, “Pick a date!”
The “In da Club” hitmaker responded by making fun of T.I.’s beard in a photo and his music. “Bro ya beard is not quite connecting like your music,” he wrote along with Tip’s image. Fiddy also bragged about his album sales, adding, “You know I did 10,000,000 on the second album too. you just make sure your at work on time. OK.”
Fif also took a shot at T.I. by posting along with a photo of a bee and a fly facing off, “So I just want to say to … I’m clear you will never understand how much better I am than you are, look even my skin is darker then [sic] yours. I’m just a better specimen of a man than you punk.”

T.I. didn’t back and commented on Fif’s post, “Pull ya BAD A** UP den BIG DAWG Homie OG!! Cmon!! wit ya 1 album & them other Lil Luke warm songs u got…gon dust that s**t off kid.” The Atlanta rapper responded again, writing, “These little n!66as be angry, don’t worry you’ll be a Big Dog like me one day. for now you’ll just be. I like that jacket, not bad. LOL #STARZ POWER SUNDAY!”
The “Live Your Life” spitter took another jab at Fif, posting on his page, “I’m DYYYIIINNNNN yo. Dis n***a @50cent slow af… he actually think he got a shot wit that one & 1/2 albums he got … U washed my boi. Now cmon & PULL YO YOUNG BABOON FACE A- ON UP & GET SERVED CURTIS!”

While 50 Cent and T.I.’s jabs at each other were quite savage, it’s safe to say that they’re just playfully trolling each other. The two stars recently announced a partnership on a new TV series “Twenty Four Seven”, developed at CBS All Access.

  • T.I. on Why He Challenges 50 Cent to a Song Battle: We're 'Similarly Stacked'

    Instagram/WENN

Meanwhile, when asked what would happen if Fif rejects his challenge, the Atlanta rapper responds, ‘”I understand if he don’t wanna get down in the mud, ’cause he’s so accomplished now.’
    Jul 11, 2020
AceShowbiz – T.I. gave more insight into his attempt to get rival 50 Cent on a “Verzuz” song battle with him. During his appearance on “Ebro in the Morning” on Thursday, July 9, the Atlanta rapper revealed why he targeted Fiddy, telling Ebro Darden and Peter Rosenberg that he and Fif were “similarly stacked.”
“I just think [50 has] got an ego big enough to withstand my bravado,” T.I. said at around the 15:30 mark. “I don’t think he’d be intimidated by how I pop my s**t … You got to get a gorilla for a gorilla. And regardless of how you see me, inside me there’s a 900 pound gorilla … We really are similarly stacked. I don’t have a diamond album (like 50), but he don’t have five classic albums,” he went on to say.
He then listed his five classic records, including “I’m Serious”, “Urban Legend”, “Trap Muzik”, “King” and “Paper Trail”. Ebro then replied, “I mean, there’s three in there, for sure.” However, Tip thought Ebro was biased because he’s from New York City, just like Fofty.
Saying that New York rapper had an advantage over everyone else, T.I. explained, “New York is the birthplace of hip-hop; they have some of the most successful, most talented lyricists known to man … But even though they have those lyricists … If they were from somewhere else, they wouldn’t have had the same success. If 50 Cent were from the Midwest, he’d be Nelly. Nelly got two diamond albums.”
When asked what would happen if Fif rejected his challenge, Tip responded, “I understand if he don’t wanna get down in the mud, ’cause he’s so accomplished now. He’s got so many TV shows, he got so many dope TV shows, and so many prosperous television deals that he just doesn’t time to get down in the weeds and defend his catalog against the king, I understand … But as an artist, as a businessman, [50’s] extremely accomplished. But my catalog is doper than his.”

“I don’t want Jay-Z or Nas … they can tap into a sense of nostalgia that I can’t tap into,” he said. “I wanna see someone who was coming up at the same time as me … They [also] have to be a ‘multimedia global mogul’ … If there’s a great white in the fish tank, where the f**k do the goldfish go?”

  • Charlamagne Tha God Is Team T.I. in His Hypothetical 'Verzuz' Battle With 50 Cent

    WENN

Meanwhile, during an interview with AllDef’s ‘Roast This’, the ‘Friends and Family Hustle’ star reveals that Fiddy isn’t his first choice as he initially wants to go against Jay-Z.
    Jul 9, 2020
AceShowbiz – It remains to be seen if T.I. will ever have a “Verzuz” battle with 50 Cent. However, should the “In Da Club” rapper accept Tip’s challenge for the song battle, the latter has already one person that will be in his team and that’s Charlamagne Tha God.
The “Breakfast Club” host revealed that he believed Tip would beat Fiddy in a recent episode of the radio show. “Love everything that 50 Cent is about when it comes to his business, but in that Verzuz versus T.I., y’all know I’m on record as saying T.I. is one of my top five to seven favorite rappers of all time, I think T.I. washes 50 Cent in a Verzuz battle,” so he said.
“When you put together [T.I.’s] own catalog [and] features, it’s not even close,” CTG went on to reason. “It’s really not.”

Meanwhile, T.I. is pretty confident with his catalog as well. During an interview with AllDef’s “Roast This”, the “Friends & Family Hustle” star shared that he can top Fofty. “I’m doper,” said T.I. “I don’t care who sold however many records.”
“I don’t care who has more number ones whether that means I’m up, meaning I have more number ones, more records sold, less records sold. Don’t care about that. I think my catalog is doper,” he added.
Additionally, Tip revealed that 50 wasn’t his first choice for his song battle opponent. “To be honest with you man, I want [Jay-Z!” the husband of Tiny (Tameka Cottle]) said. “Who can see [Jay-Z] sitting down to do a battle? If I’m a billionaire, I’m not finna do that, either, but me and 50 ain’t that far off. As far as our confidence, as far as our bankrolls go, we kinda neck and neck, whether he wants to [admit] it or not. And another thing, it’s personality. I need somebody who has a personality that won’t be so intimidated by my bravado.”

T.I. challenged Fiddy for a “Verzuz” battle on the latter’s birthday on Monday. “For your birthday, I offer you a challenge, sir,” Tip said in a video that he shared on Instagram. “Pull your a** up with 20 of your records, sit across from me, and get this work, man.”
“But, I understand if you don’t want to answer to that challenge. Because last time you got challenged Kanye West dusted your a** off, so, you might not wanna do that. Well, guess who ain’t scared of your mothaf***in’ a**, 50?” he went on saying, referencing to the “Clash of the Titans” episode of BET’s 106 & Park featuring Kanye and Fofty as they discussed their respective albums “Graduation” and “Curtis” which were released at the same time.
