'RHONY': Heather Thomson Refuses to Film Season 13 Following Leah McSweeney Fight

    Instagram

The tension between the two Housewives was hinted in season 13 trailer which Bravo released earlier this month in which Leah was heard calling Heather a ‘Karen’ for an unknown reason.

    Mar 30, 2021

    AceShowbiz –
Heather Thomson may not appear much in season 13 of “The Real Housewives of New York City”. According to a new report, Heather has stopped filming as she’s feuding with co-star Leah McSweeney.

“Heather’s popular history with the old cast and the excitement about new cast member Eboni Williams prompted production to maneuver her return,” a source claims to Us Weekly. The source also shares that Ramona Singer invited the 50-year-old fashion designer to the Hamptons for the weekend during production.

That was when Heather and Leah were involved in a verbal fight. “Shortly after she arrived, Leah [McSweeney] and Heather butt heads. Their exchanges got messy and included some name-calling,” the insider details. Heather allegedly “was stunned” over the fight as she “had minimal interaction” with Leah before season 13.

“Heather could see Leah was acting up for the cameras and using behavior she considered demeaning and exploitative and frankly, crossed a line,” says the source. “Heather wanted no part of Leah so after she left that weekend Heather had no interest in continuing the season at all and stopped filming.”

The tension between Heather and Leah was hinted in season 13 trailer which Bravo released earlier this month. The video saw Leah calling Heather a “Karen” for an unknown reason.

In addition to that, the clip saw Eboni calling out fellow Housewife Ramona for her comment on her housekeeper. She confronted Ramona for referring to her employees for her party as “the help,” saying, “The ‘help’ comment was a little triggering for me.” To that, Ramona fired back, “Here’s to ‘hospitality assistance.’ ”

Elsewhere in the teaser, Eboni bragged about being the most educated person among other Housewives. “I have more education frankly than anybody at this table,” so the lawyer said. “Don’t come into my house and tell me I dont have an education,” Luann de Lesseps snapped at Eboni who responded, “I can leave your house Lu!”

    Aug 26, 2020
AceShowbiz – Carole Radziwill is among those who were affected by Dorinda Medley’s departure from “The Real Housewives of New York City”. Carole, who left the show two years ago, has taken to her Twitter account to weigh in on Dorinda’s exit.
Gushing over Dorinda, Carole wrote on the blue bird app on Tuesday, August 25, “Dorinda was only ‘real’ HW. So no more truth telling too. Trust me that’s a main reason cast is let go.” The 57-year-old, who starred on “RHONY” from seasons 5 to 10, went on saying, “Telling the truth & exposing fake cast members & their storylines & how its all manipulated by production. I will never tire of saying I told you so about Trump, and this.”
Not stopping there, Carole followed it up with another tweet hours later. Alongside a picture of her with Dorinda, she wrote in the caption, “And so it goes….#Rhony Fans will miss her quips, her humor, her in your face bulls**t detector & her intelligence. But what they will come to miss the most is her honesty and realness in a sea of mendacity. Onward, my love. @DorindaMedley.”

  • 'RHONY': Leah McSweeney Cries During Intimate Talk About Her Alcohol Abuse

    Instagram

The 37-year-old ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ cast member can’t hold her tears while opening up about her previous battle with alcohol in a new episode.
    Aug 22, 2020
AceShowbiz – Leah McSweeney got emotional in the Thursday, August 20 episode of “The Real Housewives of New York City”. The TV star couldn’t hold her tears while opening up about her previous battle with alcohol.
“I went to the bath house with [sister] Sarah the other day, and I was telling her that even though [my relationship with you] is really good and definitely a lot better than it used to be, that I think it can improve,” the 37-year-old told her mom, Bunny, during a heart-to-heart conversation. “She was, like, discouraging me. She was like, ‘Mom said she doesn’t even like you.’ ”
“One day I might not like you, another day I might not like Sarah,” Bunny responded. “That doesn’t mean I don’t love you and I don’t care about you. The one thing I don’t like, and I’ll say it to the day I die, is drinking. If you want me to change my thoughts on that, I won’t.”
Trying to stop herself from crying, Leah said, “I still carry a lot of guilt for everything that happened when I was a teenager. Sometimes I feel like I can’t let go of the f***ing teenager. Sometimes I feel like that’s who I am.”
Bunny then reminded her that things have changed a lot and she had overcome all the hard times in the past. “But you’re not,” Bunny told Leah. “You got sober. You had a baby. You have a business. You did fine. I think when you think I’m judging about the drinking … I wouldn’t want to see you lose what you have worked so hard for.”
Leah begun drinking again six months before filming started although she stayed sober for nine years. For that, Bunny told her, “I think you really have to be honest about that.” She added, “Because I don’t see it enhancing your life. I just don’t. I don’t think Kiera would like that either,” referencing Leah’s 12-year-old daughter.

  • 'RHONY' Star Leah McSweeney Confront Ramona Singer for Gossiping About Her Bipolar Disorder

    Instagram

The drama then unfolds when the ladies arrive in Cancun, Mexico, for their annual girls’ trip where Leah confronts Ramona before they get into a screaming match.
    Jul 31, 2020
AceShowbiz – Leah McSweeney was beyond upset when she found out that her “The Real Housewives of New York City” co-star Ramona Singer was talking about her mental health with others behind her back. In the Thursday, July 30 episode of the show, Ramona told Sonja Morgan that Leah acted crazy at her birthday party because she has bipolar disorder.
“I found out she’s bipolar and she’s on medication and I know people who are bipolar and you cannot mix alcohol with meds, it makes you act not responsible. It’s actually very dangerous,” the 63-year-old told Sonja.
Ramona revealed during a confessional that she learned about it through a friend. “They go, ‘Ramona listen, this Leah girl, she writes a blog and on a blog she says she’s bipolar.’ That explains it all!” Meanwhile, Sonja wondered in her own confessional, “Why is Ramona telling me this and where is she getting this information. Is it true even? I’m getting along well with Leah.”
The drama then unfolded when the ladies arrived in Cancun, Mexico, for their annual girls’ trip. After Ramona vented at Sonja about what Leah did at her party, Sonja told her, “You said she lifted up her skirt. She said she didn’t.” However, Ramona insisted that Leah did, to the point she “had to run over to her and pull down her dress.”
Apparently, Sonja let it slip to Leah about Ramona gossiping about her mental health. Leah then expressed her frustration to Dorinda Medley, saying, “Whatever, I don’t care about the party. She’s saying I showed my vagina to people, which is demeaning and it’s a lie and whatever. But when you start talking about ‘Leah has depression, she’s on pills,’ it’s a line that you don’t cross.” She also said that she never told Ramona about her bipolar disorder, adding that “she must’ve done some digging.”
“I was diagnosed with bipolar 2 disorder on my 30th birthday and really dedicated the last seven years of my life to getting it under control and to getting myself in a good place. I’m not even on medication, so for her to be talking about it in this way is despicable,” Leah shared.
Later, Leah confronted Ramona about the matter. “Then why do you keep talking about [my vagina]?” Leah said, to which Ramona yelled back, I don’t talk about it, you’re talking about it!” Leah then insisted, “I didn’t do anything! She needs to stop talking about my vagina.”

  • 'RHONY': Luann de Lesseps Kicks Out 'Worthless' Sonja Morgan of Her Cabaret Show

    Instagram

It starts after Sonja reveals at Dorinda Medley’s Blue Stone Manor that she is only being paid $225 to be a part of Luann’s cabaret, prompting others to call Luann ‘mean.’
    Jul 11, 2020
AceShowbiz – “The Real Housewives of New York City” returned with a new episode on Thursday, July 9. The new outing featured the women going back in the Berkshires before a drama erupted between cast members Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan.
It started after Sonja revealed at Dorinda Medley’s Blue Stone Manor that she was only being paid $225 to be a part of Luann’s cabaret. Prior to the revelation, Luann told the other Housewives, “Sonja and I are going to do a show together!”
Ramona Singer then asked if she would pay Sonja, who quickly interjected, “No! She never pays me. My girl Lu, it’s not that I don’t have a good time doing any kind of performance with her, but I have a family to support, people who depend on me, other than Lu.” Luann, however, insisted that she wanted to bring Sonja into her Cabaret show because “I love her.”
The other ladies still thought that Lu should compensate Sonja with Ramona suggesting, “Pay her $10,000 or $5,000.” When Sonja accused Lu of exploiting her, Lu was livid and told her, “Exploit you? I don’t need you. Go f**k yourself. I do pay her!”
When Sonja revealed that she only got $225, Ramona asked in disbelief, “You only pay her $200?” Luann then explained during her confessional interview that it was because “I have major Broadway talent in my shows. I am not going to pay Sonja Morgan more to take off her dress to be in my show.”
That prompted others to come at Luann as they called her “mean” and said that she wasn’t “valuing” Sonja. “What do you mean I don’t value her? Of course, I do,” Luann disagreed. Sonja then responded, “You give me $225 – that doesn’t even cover my hair and makeup.”
Upon hearing that, Luann decided that she no longer needed “worthless” Sonja in her show and kicked her out. “I have my cabaret show that’s very huge and guess what, you’re not a part of it. I tried to include you and you made me feel bad about it. You’re done. I don’t want you in my show. …. You b***h,” she told Sonja, who later replied, “I just said I can’t do it for free,” before breaking down in tears.
