GMB's Ranvir Singh welcomes new family member as she talks new arrival

Good Morning Britain’s Ranvir Singh revealed that she’s welcoming a new arrival to her family tomorrow.

The 42-year-old ITV presenter and newsreader spilled the news at the end of today’s GMB, telling Ben Shephard of her excitement that her clan are getting a dog.

She told her co-host with a massive grin on her face: “I’ve got a puppy coming tomorrow I can’t wait!”

Ranvir looked overjoyed to be getting a pooch, as she smiled widely at her GMB co-star.

The newsreader’s lovely lockdown news comes after GMB weather presenter Alex Beresford showed off his puppy during his segment on the ITV programme.

Alex showed off his adorable dog on today’s GMB after sharing updates with his fans on Instagram.

While chatting to Ben and Ranvir earlier in the show, Alex introduced them to his gorgeous dog.

Ben said: “Alex, you’ve got your dog with you as well of course. We love meeting her on your social media channels.

“What’s the dog called?”

The weather expert said as he stroked his pet: “So, this is Peaches.

“She’s a couple of years old now. She’s a mix between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a miniature toy Poodle. She’s quite small.”

He added: “She’s actually had a haircut over the past few days at home.”

Alex recently revealed he had split with his wife just before lockdown.

He explained to ITV’s mental health podcast ‘Get Britain Talking’: “As we kind of moved into the summer, myself and Natalia decided we were going to part ways.

“I’m not a quitter, and I hate quitting things. We tried to work through things, but at some point you realise the best thing to do for everybody is to walk away, but walking away is never easy.

“We were in the same house up until the beginning of this year, knowing that we were parting ways, it takes a while to figure things out. One thing I didn’t want to do is rush things.

“I think by being in that house, knowing we weren’t together, we actually started to get on better. It removed a lot of the stress and expectation that a relationship can bring.”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV
