Real Housewives' Seema excitement after dressing 'ultimate girl' Beyoncé

The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Seema Malhotra has dressed everybody from Catherine Middleton, The Duchess of Cambridge to Miley Cyrus.

Now, she can proudly add singer Beyoncé to her list after being approached by the Destiny’s Child star’s personal stylist.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online ahead of season 12 of the reality show, the Bury-born businesswoman revealed her secrets to working around the coronavirus pandemic lockdown as well as an exciting bombshell arrival on the Cheshire scene.

Seema’s designs have been seen on the cover of magazines around the world, something which she still finds “amazing,” 12 years after creating the brand alongside her husband Sandeep.

“I feel like we have great UK brand ambassadors, Amanda Holden is a great fan of the brand,” she said.

But, there is one name that she still struggles to wrap her head around.

She excitingly revealed: “Beyoncé’s stylist started following me, to me, she is the ultimate, someone like Jennifer Lopez, they embrace their curves, they to me stand for really powerful women, very natural.

“When we were contacted by the stylist, it was all so exciting, we did send out, pre-lockdown, some pieces to Beyoncé but we’ve not seen anything yet.”

This season, the Real Housewives were dealt a shattering blow when bubbly-blonde Esther Dohnalova revealed she had decided to leave the Golden Triangle.

The group were later introduced to an old friend of Dawn Ward’s, Lystra Adams – a Cheshire businesswoman.

Speaking about Lystra’s arrival, Seema said: “She’s such a bombshell, I can’t wait for you all to see her. I think she’s really added that little extra to the show.

“For someone to come in quite new, it’s like she’s always been here. She’s very confident, she’s a very powerful woman, and let’s put it this way, she doesn’t take any c**p off anybody.

“It’s kind of shocked everybody else.”

Seema, who owns fashion empire Forever Unique, said that in light of the pandemic, the staff at her Manchester headquarters had been given the opportunity to work from home as well as having a reduced amount of staff in the office.

“Covid has affected everybody in some way shape or form and obviously with filming, with my work life – it’s been hard, but we’re getting through it.

“It’s a new way of life, we’ve got to come to terms with it,” she told us.

The mum-of-two likened the working routine due to the pandemic as “stripping it back and starting again”.

Forever Unique is famous for their fancy frocks – often seen on the Cheshire elite at various events, but in light of the pandemic, they adjusted to the landscape and started producing loungewear for the first time.

“We’ve evolved, I’ve just gone into producing glamourous loungewear, so things you can wear at home or if you’re going into the office,” Seema said.

Despite having showrooms and offices in the likes of Milan, Athens, the Middle East, and her Manchester headquarters, Malhotra has no current plans to expand the business.

The Real Housewives of Cheshire airs on Mondays at 9pm on ITVBe
