Corrie's Mary 'Muff County' remark floors fans as she talks lesbian sex

Coronation Street’s Mary Taylor left ITV viewers in hysterics tonight as she recalled her adventures in Muff County.

The florist assistant spoke about her trip to Muff when Tracy Barlow insisted she was a bigger feminist than her as she had once slept with a woman.

Tracy told Mary (Patti Clare): “No-one’s a bigger feminist than me. I’ve slept with a woman, have you slept with a woman? No.”

Mary replied: “You obviously haven’t heard about my trip to Muff, County Donegal.”

She added: “But I’ll set the scene – I was wearing ski pants. And as the clock struck 12, very little else.”

As Gail and David were arguing, Tracy asked: “Didn’t you kick her down the stairs once?”

David said: “Define kicked,” while Gail replied: “That’s very triggering actually, especially today of all days.”

Tracy asked David: “Is it the anniversary.”

The character hilariously replied: “I don’t know, do I?

“It didn’t exactly pop up on my Facebook memories, did it? Pushed mum down the stairs and nearly killed her. LOL”.

Coronation Street continues on Monday at 7.30pm on ITV.
