Elliot Page praised by fans as he poses shirtless in 'first pair of swim trunks'

Juno actor Elliot Page has been praised by fans after he showed off his toned abs to his followers online for the very first time.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Elliot beamed radiantly, as he enjoyed the gorgeous weather while taking his first dip in the pool.

Wearing red swimming trunks, a blue cap and a long silver chain, Elliot flaunted his ripped physique while he smiled happily for the camera.

Captioning the post, the star wrote: “Trans bb’s first swim trunks #transjoy #transisbeautiful.”

Fans of the star couldn’t get enough of Elliot’s gleaming photo and took to the comment section to express their views.

“You look so happy,” a fourth chimed.

The picture of Elliot’s bare torso is the first topless photo that he’s shown to the world since coming out as transgender.

The star recently revealed that he underwent top surgery earlier this year- a procedure that many trans men go through in order to remove the breast tissue so the chest can appear flat.

Elliot came out to his fans on Instagram last December to inform them of his new identity.

In the lengthy Instagram post, the Hollywood star expressed that he loved being transgender.

He said: “I love that I am trans.

“And I love that I am queer. And the more I hold myself close and fully embrace who I am, the more my heart grows and the more I thrive.”

He added: “To all the trans people who deal with harassment, self-loathing, abuse, and the threat of violence every day: I see you, I love you, and I will do everything I can to change this world for the better.”

Last month, Elliot also expressed that he feels a sense of comfort with his transition.

Taking to Instagram to promote his interview with Oprah Winfrey for Apple TV+, Elliot penned: “From where I’m sitting now, all I know is the degree of comfort, sense of home, ability to be present, feels so profound and life-changing.

“And so what I look forward to is getting to move through the world in that way.”
