Joe Swash gives rare update on soap sister Shana as she launches new project

Nice-guy Joe Swash gave his Instagram followers a sneak peak into what his younger sister is up to these days.

Sister Shana Swash, joined Joe on Eastenders back in 2004 as his onscreen sibling before saying her goodbyes in 2006 after some extremely dramatic story lines.

On Tuesday (July 27) Joe took to social media to show how proud he is of Shana’s new project she has launched.

Shana and her partner Nick Jones have opened own coffee vendor and Joe could not be more excited, reports The Mirror.

The 39-year-old gave his Instagram followers a guided tour of the snazzy new coffee stall which is called ‘Swash & Jones”.

“My sister is opening up her very first Swash and Jones coffee stall, look at this,” Joe proudly states, as she spots sister Shana.

“There she is!” he laughs, as he goes inside the stall, which is decked out with swish appliances and wood counters.

“It’s beautiful! Look at this!” he exclaims, as he shows off the coffee machine.

He then shared a picture of a Swash & Jones branded coffee cup, and tagged his sister’s business in the post.

“Super proud of my little sister and her partner,” he wrote across a picture, showing him beaming in front of Shana’s coffee stall.

Shana turned up on Albert Square as 13-year-old teenage mum Demi Miller on the hit BBC One soap alongside big brother Joe who played wheeler-dealer Mickey Miller.

Shana was axed from the soap, along with older brother Joe, in 2006, and the duo’s final scenes together as Demi and Mickey saw them head to the Cotswolds to start a new life with mum Rosie.
