Piers Morgan mocks 'Pinocchio' Meghan Markle after dropping huge GMB return hint

Piers Morgan has taken to Twitter to ramp up rumours regarding his return to Good Morning Britain and made yet another dig at the Duchess of Sussex whilst he’s at it.

The 56-year-old has first tweeted out the front cover of Woman magazine, with the cover story of himself and Holly Willoughby – hinting at the fact the pair may be pulled in to bring up GMB’s ratings.

The opinionated star then wrote above the cover “Well now…” followed by an interested-looking emoji.

This caused a stir between his followers, with some already hearing of the rumour that GMB bosses may be willing to resort to drastic measures to up their audience levels.

Piers first walked away from the show in March, and since then the show has reportedly been struggling with its figures, with numbers dropping to under 500,000 some days.

Since his departure, Piers has been replaced by numerous temporary co-stars, but none have had the same effect with fans.

He later responded to a story by The Mirror stating that GMB miss the ex-host and want him to come back.

He quote tweeted the news story and said: “Thank you @GMB viewers! I miss you guys too… (and guyesses, people of gender-fluid non-binary guyness etc)”

One fan wrote underneath: “Yes Piers stop sulking, say you’re sorry and come back and make GMB great again.”

Piers responded in classic fashion: “I’d rather eat vegan sausage rolls for the rest of my life than apologise for disbelieving Princess Pinocchio.”

The dig was aimed at Meghan Markle who he has had an ongoing feud with over recent years, along with her husband and Queen Elizabeth’s grandson Prince Harry.

Most recently, the fierce critic of the husband and wife duo branded Harry a “hypocritical royal brat” as he responded to news that he was writing a memoir.

Reeling from the news, Piers told readers of his Mail Online column that the memoir was a “slap in the face” and called on the Queen to strip the pair of their titles.

He wrote: “The memoirs are a slap in the face too far for a family that’s surely exhausted all collective patience with the Sussexes.”

“I’ve said this before, and I now say it again: the Queen should strip Harry and Meghan of all their titles with immediate effect.

He went on: “Compel them to do this malevolent, manipulative c**p in their names, not as royals.”
