Sporting a camouflage top which flashed her black bra sat underneath, Danniella wore a huge smile across her face as she gazed into the lens.

She wore her statement blonde locks in a chic bob and donned a pair of black sunglasses on the top of her head.

The Dancing on Ice star captioned the adorable throwback snap: “My boy and me in Spain 1997 @kjfernandez23 #spain #kai.”

Fans flocked to the comments to swoon over the stunning shot of Danniella and her son as one gushed: “Beautiful picture.”

Another echoed: “What a beautiful photo of you both.”

“How gorgeous,” added a third.

After leaving the iconic role of the Mitchell sister behind in 2000, Danniella returned to EastEnders in 2009 for two temporary stints before taking the role once again for four episodes between June and July of 2016.

The character was written back into the soap this year, however producers brought back Kim Medcalfe who played the role from 2002 to 2005.
