Married at First Sight UK fans want George Roberts to be edited out of the E4 show following his recent arrest.

The 40-year-old has been faced with numerous accusations of harassment and emotional abuse from ex-girlfriends who raised concerns about his behaviour after spotting him on TV.

The Met Police told The Sun: “A 40-year-old man was arrested in Worcestershire on Thursday, September 29, on suspicion of controlling and coercive behaviour.

“He was taken to a police station and bailed pending further enquiries.”

After the accusations came to light and it was reported that the reality star was being investigated, fans share their thoughts on the matter on social media.

One user said: “I think in the interest of the news that broke with George, Channel 4 should’ve just edited out April and George’s part and put in more of the other couples #MAFSUK.”

“We don’t want to see George ya’all should of edited him and April scenes out when he was arrested a week ago #MAFSULK,” fumed another.

A third added: “Yea it’s triggering to keep watching George tbf after recent developments. Not a great look #MAFSUK.”

“One said: “I am watching #MAFSUK and it’s hard to watch George give advice knowing he’s since been arrested for coercive control. I wonder why they didn’t re-edit,” penned someone else.

While a fifth user raged: “This is absolutely disgusting that Channel 4 continue to show episodes of Married at First Sight with George Roberts after he has been arrested.”

The dad-of-four has denied the allegations brought against him.

A response statement released before his arrest said: “As a father of daughters, he finds these accusations deeply upsetting and does not condone abuse nor behaves in that way.

“These allegations were never brought to his attention, investigated or taken further by the police for good reason as they are simply not true.”
