Tom Parker's widow Kelsey Hardwick 'beyond proud' as his memoir tops bestseller list

Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey has said she is “beyond proud” after his book became a bestseller.

The Wanted star’s memoir, entitled Hope: My Inspirational Life, has topped the Sunday Times bestseller list.

Kelsey marked the milestone by sharing snaps on Instagram of the book and of the late singer, who died in March aged 33 after battling an inoperable brain tumour.

“My husband… a Sunday Times no 1 best selling author,” she wrote.

“Beyond proud of my love. What I’d give to celebrate with you one more time @tomparkerofficial.

“You would have loved the 4 day weekend and excuse to celebrate this weekend.”

“I miss you every second of every day,” added Kelsey, who has two young children with the late star.

Fans and friends posted messages of congratulations in the comments section after Kelsey shared the news.

“Awwww so happy for you all, sending the hugest hug xxxx,” said Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha.

“Yay it did it,” said actress Martine McCutcheon.

Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh said that it was “amazing” news.

Tom was told in 2020 that he had a grade four glioblastoma and had said that he was determined to beat the odds.

Kelsey announced in March that he had passed away peacefully with all of his family by his side.

“Our hearts are broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

“We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported in his care throughout, he fought until the very end.

“I’m forever proud of you.”
