Torvill and Dean unveil secret treat that Dancing on Ice judges hide during live shows

Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill let slip that all the Dancing on Ice judges all keep a secret sweet treat under their desks.

According to the British champion’s each panel member is allowed to have something nice to nibble on throughout the show.

When speaking with Lorraine Kelly, 62, on Wednesday’s ITV programme, the Scottish host diverted the conversation to a “tip off” she’d received about stashing goods under the desk.

Looking bamboozled, Chris, 63, and Jayne, 64, turned to one another before unveiling the truth.

Lorraine asked: “So I’m told you keep Jelly Beans under the desk? Is that true?”

Chris told Lorraine: “We haven’t met Oti yet but will be meeting her today.”

Oti now joins Chris, Jayne and Diversity star Ashley Banjo as judges of the iconic ITV feel-good programme.

Speaking about her new adventure, she said: “As a professional dancer I have always had so much respect for the skating professionals.

“I can’t wait to see the celebrities thrive as they learn how to ice-skate and to champion the professional skaters as they create incredible choreography.”
