David Beckham pokes fun at wife Victoria’s outfit for family beekeeping day with kids

David Beckham has taking a cheeky swipe at hhis usually fashionable looking wife Victoria Beckham for her outfit during a family beekeeping day out.

David and Victoria took their four children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper on the unusual excursion after dad David discovered a love of beekeeping during lockdown.

His passion for bees even extended to him spending £500 for a bee hive in his the garden of his Cotswolds home, and now he’s keen to share his insect hobby with his family – but Victoria seemed less than keen.

Whilst the kids got stuck into the day out, Victoria held back with husband David taking a moment to tease his wife of 24 years.

David first shared a picture of himself alongside his four children as he wrote: “My (not so little anymore) beekeepers”.

But then he added a cheeky snap of wife Victoria keeping well away from the hives dressed up in the white beekeeping garb. He teased as his fashion loving wife reportedly had heels on and no gloves for the day out with the bees.

He shared a picture of Victoria keeping away as he captioned it: “”No gloves, high heels, keeping her distance – try to get a little bit of my sticky stuff.”

Whilst she might not have been keen to be near the bees, Victoria still clearly enjoyed herself as she shared a snap from the day with her husband and wrote: “Happy weekend I love u @davidbeckham.”

David’s love of bees and honey hasn’t just become a small hobby, but it’s turned into something he’s even shared with the royal family. Footballer David even reportedly offered King Charles III a jar of his homemade honey last month after meeting at a British Fashion Council (BFC) event.

King Charles, who also keeps bees at his estates, thanked the former footballer as he joked: “We shall have to do a swap.”

Bee enthusiast David previously told fans that beekeeping had made him “emotional” after he filled his first jar of honey as he said: “Who knew I’d get so emotional about my first harvest?”
