Now, as the former teacher embarks on his latest charity campaign with Technicians: We Can Make the Difference, the reality star has hinted that they may be ready to take things to the next level.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, he gushed about how their romance has blossomed since they left the villa. Kai began: “I think there could be wedding bells in the future. I feel like if you’re in a relationship and you’re not dating to marry them then there’s an issue there.

“I mean, we’re building something and we’re very much in each other’s families. She’s even been to Jamaica to visit all my family, she’s been to Jamaica to visit my Nana and stuff like that.

“I’m going to Trinidad next week to meet the rest of hers and we live together. So yeah, if you’re not going to marry at this point then there’s a bit of an issue there.”

When asked what the key to a strong relationship is, the hunk confessed that the happy couple have started a podcast together. He went on: “We spend a lot of time together.

“We always have ever since we met on the Island, it was just us two on the show. As soon as we met each other we just gravitated towards each other.

“She supports me in my things, I support her in her things. I’ve just started a rugby podcast and she’s an executive producer on it. So she’s there helping with all the audio content, coming around helping me with everything I do.”

The former teacher added: “So I think it’s just being supportive. Making sure that you’re friends, making sure that you enjoy each other’s company, making sure that you’re respect each other.

“And just being there for each other. I feel like we’re both very, very close to each other and I’ve never been this close to anybody in my life. So I feel very, very grateful for that as well.”

It comes after the star teamed up with Technicians: We Make the Difference to shine a light on exciting but under-the radar jobs that teachers may not know about. Speaking about the campaign, Kai gushed: “I loved working in a school and as a teacher, I wanted to open opportunities for teenagers and help with their development.

“Many young people might think they know what pathways they can take for their dream futures, but the research here clearly shows that we need to work harder to help them understand that university isn’t their only option and there are still many dream jobs they can uncover.

“Becoming a technician is something you may not have thought of, and you realist you have the perfect skills for – there are interesting and exciting jobs in so many different sectors from agriculture to fashion, and special effects to making parts for space rockets! Options such as apprenticeships and T-levels are great routes to take if you don’t want to go down the university path and want to have the chance to learn in the workplace too.
