    May 13, 2020
AceShowbiz – DaBaby and B. Simone once again spark romance rumors. During their appearance on “Wild ‘N Out”, the two stars show incessantly flirty interaction. According to a sneak peek at the upcoming episode of the show, it seems like the Charlotte rapper is proposing to her.
The sneak peek video features B. Simone wearing a wedding dress. DaBaby is about to kneel for another girl before B. Simon barges in. “Hell no! Hell no! Who is this b***h?” she can be heard yelling. The video cuts when DaBaby turns his attention to B. Simone instead, much to her excitement.

    B. Simone had multiple times made public of her obsession with DaBaby. Last year, the businesswoman left some thirsty comments on the “Bop” hitmaker’s social media posts. She’s also photographed sporting a white traditional wedding dress complete with a veil while carrying a cardboard cut-out of DaBaby in a tux while attending Jess Hilarious’ Halloween party in Atlanta.
The rapper/businesswoman additionally once declared that she was ready to be the step-mother of his two children. In December of 2019, she finally got a chance to snuggle up to the 28-year-old star at a club.
Most recently, they refueled the speculation about possible romantic relationship between them with pictures of the two cozying up to each other, the “Intro” hitmaker has clarified that, in contrary to the rumors, they are not an item.
The Cleveland rapper set things straight on the nature of his relationship with B. Simone by sharing a trailer of his upcoming music video for “Find My Way” which is starring the “Girls Cruise” cast member. “Stupid a** n***a lol, #MarketingGOAT,” he wrote in the caption, suggesting that the PDA pictures were just marketing ploy to drum up the release of his cinematic visuals.

    Artist of the Week: DaBaby

The ‘Bob’ hitmaker celebrates his second No. 1 album and shuts his haters up as his third studio installment ‘Blame It on Baby’ climbed atop the Billboard charts.
    May 4, 2020
AceShowbiz – DaBaby is not a one-hit wonder. After making his first breakthrough in 2019, he proved himself to be a hitmaker as he released one successful single after another. Be it his own song or another artist’s where he’s a featured guest, it soared high on the charts and became popular with the crowd.
Some of his big hits included “Suge”, “Intro”, and “Bob” from his first two studio albums. Camila Cabello’s single “My Oh My” where he spits his rhymes also climbed up to the top 20, not just in the U.S. Billboard rankings but also in the singles charts all over the globe.
The 28-year-old Charlotte lyricist has also got recognitions from heavyweight names like Jay-Z and P. Diddy. “Suge” is named one of Jay-Z’s favorite songs of 2019 while Diddy heaped praise on the “Kirk” rapper and crowned him the hottest star in the rap game right now.
DaBaby kept his momentum going by dropping a third studio installment. However, the higher the hill, the stronger the wind blows. As soon as the new album “Blame It on Baby” was released, it became a subject of harsh criticisms by fans on the internet but the “Find My Way” rapper was undeterred.
By the end of the week, the album jumped straight to the first spot on Billboard Hot 200, proving that the mean comments didn’t really represent the masses. The album marked his second No. 1 album and the single “Rockstar” peaked at the top 10 on Hot 100.
Soon after the chart rankings were revealed, he poked fun at the trolls who had been trying to discourage him with their sneers and jeers. He posted a video on Instagram, pretending to get angry and furiously slamming the trash bin before spitting on it.
“This what my trolls do to my music when they put in hard work doin all that hatin and my s**t STILL top the charts,” he wrote in the caption while bragging about his latest accomplishments. He added, “Relax bro, I love y’all too…. no cap. #BlameItOnBaby.”

“Thats where your music belongs bruh,” another poked fun at the Charlotte star. A third user told him, “Calm down and take the criticism. The album wasn’t good and even your fans agree. No one cares about what Album tops the charts.”
“Ts still wack … you may top the charts FOR NOW but unless you change some you’ll be forgotten in a year or 2,” another advised him. Someone else weighed in on the album’s chart performance, “Streams don’t mean s**t in 2020 we know they inflated.”

DaBaby Heavily Trolled Over His New Album

The ‘Suge’ hitmaker released his third studio album ‘Blame It on Baby’ as a follow-up to his No. 1 record ‘Kirk’ on Thursday midnight, April 17, but many are not thrilled to listen to his new music.
    Apr 18, 2020
AceShowbiz – DaBaby has completed his new album and released “Blame It on Baby” amid the coronavirus pandemic. But instead of taking pleasure in getting new music from their favorite star and enjoying it, many end up getting disappointed after listening to the album.
After the record was made available for streams on Friday, April 17 at midnight, fans quickly took to Twitter to share their opinion on DaBaby’s third studio album. They didn’t hold back on sharing their criticisms over the record, with one writing, “I hope I like the new dababy album but if not he definitely did have a good run.”
Thinking that it wasn’t worth to be released, another wondered, “so….uh… who tf approved the dababy album?” Another admitted, “Yeah I’m disappointed,” while someone bluntly said, “I can confirm it’s trash.. nothing to see here guys.”
Another shared what’s wrong about the album, “DaBaby’s lack of versatility is gonna hurt him badly.” One other user weighed in, “@DaBabyDaBaby album is not good because he’s rapping about what he thinks everyone wants to hear scared to show people how educated and diverse he really is . I hope next time you really y’all yo s**t.”
Some others, meanwhile, blamed the bad record on DaBaby making three albums within the span of one year. “Might be time for DaBaby to hang it up. Back to back albums,” one of them claimed.
But there are still a few who think that DaBaby’s “Blame It on Baby” isn’t that bad. “I don’t care if DaBaby sounds the same a lot. He gets me hyped,” a fan commented. “I’d rate Dababy album a 6.5/10. He got a couple hit but it could have definitely been better,” another gave a mixed review. Similarly, someone else said, “It wasn’t horrible buttttttt it is not his best work.”
Disagreeing with the critics, one shared, “I like it.” One other echoed the sentiment, “Y’all are tripping his album is LIT!!” Additionally, someone responded to the haters, “honestly yall not listening to the album right. jus because the beat may not fit ur style doesnt mean he aint spittin. listen to baby he actually speakin.”

    Mar 2, 2020
AceShowbiz – Many people might get Lil Baby and fellow rapper DaBaby mixed up since they have similar stage names. Lil Baby recently discussed the matter in a new interview with Joe Budden, revealing that a lot of people had tried to make him see that as something provoking.
“I ain’t gon’ lie, so many n****s tried to go that way with me, but I always curved it from day one. Like, hell naw,” Lil Baby explained to Joe on “The Pull Up with Joe Budden” when the latter asked if anyone in his team tried to position him and DaBaby against each other. “A n***a will be like, ‘He tried to say this’ and I’ll be like, ‘No.’ Every time, I made sure it wasn’t going to be nothing.”
Additionally, Lil Baby shared that he even saw DaBaby promoting himself as a rapper at SXSW before he started taking music seriously. “I seen him at South by Southwest before I really started rapping with a diaper on like on some baby s**t,” Lil Baby said.
“Even though my name was Baby from like hustling before rap. I actually seen him. I got a song with him for a feature before he got hot. … He don’t sound like me. He don’t kick my swag. His name just ‘DaBaby’,” he continued, before revealing that they collaborated on a song before DaBaby rose to fame.

The pair recently reunited on “Baby” off 2019’s “Control the Streets Vol. 2”. Both of them also recently appeared on Future and Drake’s “Life Is Good (Remix)”.

DaBaby Helps Camila Cabello Become Hollywood Star in 'My Oh My' Video

    [embedded content]

In the Dave Meyers-directed visuals, the Cuban songstress plays a struggling actress who is frustrated that she’s unable to convince producers to take her seriously.
    Feb 13, 2020
AceShowbiz – Camila Cabello finds her hero in DaBaby. On Wednesday, February 12, the “Havana” hitmaker released a brand new music video for “My Oh My”, the final single from her second studio album “Romance”, unveiling the “BOP” rapper’s part in making her a cinematic star.
The black-and-white promo, which oozes 1920s Hollywood vibes, starts with the 22-year-old singer being presented as a struggling silent movie star. Aspiring to be more than just a doll face, she is left frustrated by her inability to convince film producers to take her seriously and to let her be a heroine in a movie.
It is not until the former member of Fifth Harmony goes to a bar that she meets up-and-coming movie mogul DaBaby. Breaking out of her good girl mold, she impresses him with her sword-wielding skills. After he buys her out of her contract, colors comes to her world and she lands a starring role in his production of “La Bonita Blade” where she is introduced as “Killer Cam.”
The music video comes from the hands of director Dave Meyers. In less than 10 hours since its debut on YouTube, it has gotten more than 2 million views. The song itself has stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for nine weeks. It peaked at No. 31 since its release in early January, joining her hit single “Senorita”, which also came from the same album, in the chart.

Prior to the release, Camila made use of social media to tease a number of her looks featured in the video. Along with the photos, the girlfriend of Shawn Mendes asked her followers, “what do you think will be the storyline of the music video for my oh my ? we’ll see who’s proven right next week hehehehehe.”

On the release date of the video, Camilla once again turned to Instagram to share a mock poster of it. She wrote on its caption, “WATCH AN UP AND COMING FILM MOGUL AND A STRUGGLING ACTRESS FIND EACH OTHER IN THIS THROWBACK ADVENTURE!!!!!!!!! finally!”
