'The Batman': Robert Pattinson Is Allegedly Difficult to Work With, Appears Intoxicated on Set

    Warner Bros. Pictures

The ‘High Life’ actor is accused of continuously bringing troubles during production of the Matt Reeves-directed movie with his alleged behavior and hook-up with his co-star Zoe Kravitz.

    Mar 13, 2021
AceShowbiz – It’s been no secret that the production of “The Batman” has faced a setback in the past due to Robert Pattinson’s COVID-19 diagnosis. And while the actor has been back working on the Matt Reeves-directed pic, he is now reported to be bringing more troubles on the set.
The British stud is reportedly a pain to work with and often showing up drunk on the set. But as noted by YouTube personality and entertainment scooper Doomcock who reported Pattinson’s alleged behavior, this unverified story should be taken “with many grains of salt.”
According to Doomcock’s source, the Cedric Diggory of “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” is difficult to get to the set and when he actually is there, his usual appearance is intoxicated. His alleged drinking behavior reportedly caused a major rift between between all factions of the production as they are way behind schedule.
It’s said that Warner Bros. has added more pressure on Reeves “to get it done” and there was purportedly a Zoom meeting between the director and Warner Bros. executives that ended up in a shouting match. Not letting it out of control, WB is said to be sending over reps to help Reeves handle Pattinson and any other issues that may arise.

Moreover, the 34-year-old actor is reported to be having a fling with his co-star Zoe Kravitz. The source claims the two stars had a passionate rendezvous on the hood of the Batmobile and this allegedly has led to the Catwoman depicter being pregnant.
The hookup allegation was first brought forward by imageboard website 4chan, which said that the report came from a source on the set. The source claimed that he, along with Reeves and a few workers, caught Pattinson and Kravitz in the middle of their support tryst, and Reeves was so mad that he interrupted the act.
The filmmaker then allegedly told Pattinson in a rage, “You are the most entitled narcissistic actor I’ve ever worked with, you go back to work, we finish filming in March and then we are done. I don’t want to ever work with you after this film.”
The source additionally said that Pattinson and Kravitz’s passionate relationship has been going on since October 2020, two months before she filed for divorce from her husband Karl Gusman after 19 months of marriage.
Neither the actor’s camp nor Warner Bros. has addressed the rumors of his supposed behavior on set. The movie, meanwhile, is scheduled to open in U.S. theaters on March 4, 2022.

  • Robert Pattinson 'Weirdly Enjoys' the Prospect of Messing Up 'The Batman'

    Warner Bros. Pictures

Instead of feeling pressured by the Caped Crusader role, the ‘Twilight’ alum ‘weirdly enjoys’ the possibility of messing up his superhero portrayal in the upcoming DC movie.
    Sep 30, 2020
AceShowbiz – “The Batman” star Robert Pattinson isn’t fazed by the prospect of messing up the role – in fact, he “weirdly enjoys” it.
The actor is set to debut as the Caped Crusader in the forthcoming 2021 flick and, speaking to Total Film magazine, he admits the idea that he can screw things up strangely excites him.
“I weirdly enjoyed it during Twilight, the idea that you can mess it up. I guess I felt confident. I wanted to be on the big stage,” Robert shares. “There’s a slightly different feeling when you know loads and loads of people are going to watch something you’re working on.”

He adds that “The Batman” is “not an origin tale, and you’re meeting him in the early days. And for me, what’s really important about this iteration is that you know a lot of the other stories are about how he had to master his fear and master himself in order to become Batman. And that in that Batman state, he’s sort of in his best self.”
“I hope what’s different about what we’re doing is try and do it in exactly that sort of manner and then of course the other things that are from the earlier history of the context of him being the world’s greatest detective and how we got there,” he says.
Production on “The Batman” recently resumed, two weeks after reports emerged that the leading man had tested positive for Covid-19 and the set had been shut down.
Filming was previously halted for almost six months in March (20) due to the pandemic, with director Matt Reeves revealing he had only shot a quarter of the movie.

    Sep 4, 2020
AceShowbiz – Producers of “The Batman” are hoping cameras will roll again “very soon” after they’ve completed a thorough investigation of the COVID-19 case that closed down the set on Thursday (03Sep20).
Unconfirmed reports suggest the Caped Crusader himself, Robert Pattinson, is the person who has tested positive for the coronavirus, and while new WarnerMedia Studios & Networks chief Ann Sarnoff insists she cannot talk about individuals linked to the project, she tells Deadline an investigation is underway to find out how health and safety guidelines put in place didn’t keep all employees from getting sick.
“We’re still in the middle of investigating what is the situation,” she tells the outlet. “We’re pausing temporarily for now until we have more information, but we have all the protocols set up to do contact tracing and hopefully get back up into production very soon.”
Production on “The Batman” shut down when the pandemic began in March. It started up again earlier this week (beg31Aug20) in Leavesden, England. Director Matt Reeves recently revealed he had completed a quarter of the film, which is scheduled for release in October, 2021.

    Sep 4, 2020
AceShowbiz – Production on “The Batman” has stalled after someone on set tested positive for COVID-19.
Filming only recently started up again after the coronavirus shutdown and now director Matt Reeves has been forced to close the set in Leavesden, England.
“A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19 and is isolating in accordance with established protocols,” a Warner Bros. spokesman confirms. “Filming is temporarily paused.”
The powers that be aren’t naming names but Vanity Fair sources claim the film’s leading man, Robert Pattinson, is the individual who is sick.
The production initially shut down in March (20), when the quarantine lockdown began and it only began again earlier this week (beg31Aug20) with cast and crew observing strict health and safety guidelines.
During last month’s (Aug20) DCFanDome virtual event, Reeves revealed he had completed a quarter of the movie, but he had enough for a trailer, which he introduced at the online fan convention.
“The Batman”, starring Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, is currently scheduled to open in theatres in October, 2021.
A spokesman for the Twilight star has yet to respond to reports he has tested positive for COVID-19.

The first sneak peek video debuted at the virtual DC FanDome introduces a dark and moody Bruce Wayne who is a far cry from the sleek rich billionaire usually portrayed onscreen.
    Aug 23, 2020
AceShowbiz – Director Matt Reeves gave Batman fans a real treat at the end of Saturday’s (22Aug20) DC FanDome virtual event by offering up his latest film’s first trailer.
Devotees who stuck around to watch all seven hours of the online celebration of all things DC Comics caught sneak peeks and new trailers of upcoming attractions as well as cast panels and insider information.
The event kicked off with a “Wonder Woman 1984” panel, featuring director Patty Jenkins and her cast, and a new teaser, and ended with Reeves answering fans questions about “The Batman”.
As his session ended, he revealed he had only completed “25 to 30 per cent” of the film before the coronavirus crisis shut down production, but he still brought something to offer fans.
The footage featured Robert Pattinson as the new Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as a pre-Catwoman Selina Kyle and Jeffrey Wright, the latest actor to take on the role of Gotham City police boss Jim Gordon.
There were also images of the new Batmobile and fans got the chance to hear Brit Pattinson’s best Batman voice as he told one group of bad guys, “I’m vengeance,” as they asked for his identity.

One fan asked Reeves why he chose the “Twilight” star as his Batman, prompting the filmmaker to say, “He has the soul of someone who can play Batman,” while revealing that, like him, the Brit is a big fan of the comic book crimefighter.
“The Batman” has resumed production in the U.K. and will hit cinemas in 2021.

Robert Pattinson Confesses to Having No Clue What 'Tenet' Is About

    WENN/Nicky Nelson

When speaking about director Christopher Nolan’s much-anticipated new release, the ‘Twilight’ actor admits to honestly telling co-star John David Washington he has no idea what’s happening.
    Jun 1, 2020
AceShowbiz – Robert Pattinson is looking forward to the release of his new movie “Tenet” – as he has no idea what the film’s about.
The “Twilight” star, who will be back at work on “The Batman” when the coronavirus-prompted filming lockdown is lifted in the U.K., admits director Christopher Nolan’s much-anticipated new release had him scratching his head as he was making it.
Speaking to Esquire alongside co-star John David Washington, he says, “It’s an incredibly complicated movie, like all of Chris’ movies. I mean, you have to watch them when they’re completely finished and edited three or four times to understand what the true meaning is.”
“When you’re doing them, I mean, there were months at a time where I’m like, ‘Am I… I actually, honestly, have no idea if I’m even vaguely understanding what’s happening’. I would definitely say that to John David.”
“On the last day, I asked him a question about what was happening in a scene, and it was just so profoundly the wrong take on the character. And it was like, ‘Have you been thinking this the entire time?'”
“There’s definitely a bond in the end in kind of hiding the fact that maybe neither one of us knew exactly what was going on. But then I thought, ‘Ah, but John David actually did know. He had to know what was going on’.”
“Tenet” will hit cinemas when they re-open.

Robert Pattinson Wants to Set Precedent as He Refuses to Workout for 'The Batman'

    Warner Bros. Pictures

The ‘Twilight’ actor rules out training to bulk up his frame because he wants a natural look for his Caped Crusader role in the upcoming DC Comics superhero movie.
    May 13, 2020
AceShowbiz – Robert Pattinson won’t be hitting the gym to play Batman as he wants to emulate movie legends of the past by having a more natural look.
The “Twilight” star, 34, is the latest actor to take on the superhero role in Matt Reeves’ “The Batman”, which was being shot in London before the U.K.’s Covid-19 lockdown halted filming in March 2020.
However, he unlike past incumbents like Christian Bale and Ben Affleck, he won’t use the extra time to bulk up his frame before shooting resumes.
“I think if you’re working out all the time, you’re part of the problem,” he tells GQ magazine. “You set a precedent. No one was doing this in the ’70s. Even James Dean – he wasn’t exactly ripped.”
According to the actor his co-star, Zoe Kravitz, who will play Catwoman”, has been keeping to a gruelling fitness plan but he is “barely doing anything.”
He is, however, sticking to a diet given to him by producers – as it’s ensuring he eats correctly rather than keeping his own bizarre food choices.
“I’m essentially on a meal plan for Batman,” Robert explains. “Thank God. I don’t know what I’d be doing other than that. But I mean, yeah, other than (that) – I can survive. I’ll have oatmeal with, like, vanilla protein powder on it.
“And I will barely even mix it up. It’s extraordinarily easy. Like, I eat out of cans and stuff. I’ll literally put Tabasco inside a tuna can and just eat it out of the can.”
“The Batman” hits cinemas in October 2021.
