The track, which will feature on the British singer’s third album, will be released on Friday, April 17.

“I never doubted that it would work, I think mainly because I’m a student of Demi’s voice probably. Growing up listening to her music and singing her music and trying to sing like Demi Lovato, I’ve been training for this moment for a long time. I absolutely adore her.”
The “Stay with Me” singer added, “As well as her incredible talent, everything she stands for as a human being is what I believe in and I just adore her. So, I’m so happy it’s worked and I hope this isn’t the last time we sing together.”

Demi Lovato Fights Herself in 'I Love Me' Music Video

    [embedded content]

The ‘Anyone’ songstress explores the theme of self-acceptance in the clip, which features references to her past, including her ‘Camp Rock’ days and her 2018 overdose.
    Mar 6, 2020
AceShowbiz – Demi Lovato is giving her inner demon’s a kick in the back. Days after announcing the release of her newest single, the “Anyone” songstress drops a music video for “I Love Me” that saw her having a fierce spar with one of her two alter egos.
The promo released on Friday, March 6 begins with the 27-year-old spending some down time in an apartment before two different versions of herself popped up. It does not take long before she fights one while her other self watches from the side. When she is finally declared a winner of the match, she steps out to the streets in full confidence.
” ‘Cause I’m a black belt when I’m beating up on myself/ But I’m an expert at giving love to somebody else/ I, me, myself and I, don’t see eye to eye,” she sings. “Oh, why do I compare myself to everyone/ And I always got my finger on the self-destruct/ I wonder when ‘I love me’ is enough? … I’m my own worst critic/ I talk a whole lot of s**t, but I’m a 10 out of 10, even when I forget it.”
Delivering a message of self-love, the music video also sees the “Skyscraper” hitmaker making reference to her past. She bumps into a trio who are likely to be a reference to her “Camp Rock” co-stars, the Jonas Brothers, and comes across a woman on a stretcher who is being rushed into an ambulance, which is most likely a tribute to her near-fatal overdose in 2018.
Near the end of the video, a bride and a groom make a dash away from the “Give Your Heart a Break” singer. It seems to be a reference to her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama’s engagement to Amanda Pacheco after eight months of dating. She and the former “That ’70s Show” had dated for six years in the past.
After “I Love Me” video made its way out, Demi shares on Instagram what the song is really about. “I can’t put into words just yet what this past year for me has been… but this song focuses on a lot of what’s been going on in my head,” she explains. “We have good days, and we have bad days. The best we can do is be the best version of ourselves and celebrate that with those closest to us. Wanted to also give a special shoutout to all of my lovatics for always being there for me. 2020 is OUR year!”

Demi Lovato 'Couldn't Keep the Secret' of New Single 'I Love Me' Any Longer

The ‘Give Your Heart a Break’ songstress takes to her Instagram page to reveal the release date of her new song, saying that it will be unveiled this week on Friday, February 6.
    Mar 3, 2020
AceShowbiz – Demi Lovato’s new single is on its way. A little over one month after releasing her emotional ballad “Anyone”, the “Give Your Heart a Break” songstress spilled that her “secret” song titled “I Love Me” would be made available sooner rather than later.
Taking to her Instagram account, the 27-year-old singer revealed that her new music would drop on Friday, February 6. Along with what seemed to be the artwork of the single, she shared with her followers, “Couldn’t keep it a secret any longer!!! My new single #ILoveMe is out on Friday.”
The Instagram post itself saw the “Skyscraper” singer donning a red leather trench coat while standing on the street. Offering a soft smile, she threw her head back and closed her eyes.

Demi’s announcement has excited fans and celebrities alike. Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez exclaimed, “Yesssss!! can’t wait girl,” while “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alum Brooke Lynn Hytes reacted by writing, “That’s so weird because I also LOVE YOU! (And me).” Demi’s mother Dianna De La Garza, on the other hand, warned, “The world’s not ready for this song…”
“I Love Me” might be the body positivity song Demi recently talked about. Back in February, she shared on Ashley Graham’s “Pretty Big Deal” podcast, “I was in the studio and I was working with one of my favorite producers. We were writing and we were making this song, it was like an anthem about body positivity.”

Demi made a comeback to the music world at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards in late January, nearly two years after suffering a drug overdose in 2018. The “Heart Attack” singer, at the time, delivered an emotional performance of “Anyone” which has since debuted at No. 34 on the Billboard Hot 100 and given her a No. 1 debut on the Digital Song Sales chart. Days later, she sang a rendition of “Star Spangled Banner” at Super Bowl LIV.

    Feb 10, 2020

Her powerful return at the 62nd annual Recording Academy Awards is a proof of that, as she touched many people’s hearts with her emotional rendition of her new song “Anyone”.
Her raw performance at the award-giving event earned praises from fans and fellow celebrities. Pink, for example, admitted to being torn down by Demi’s set. “I’m so glad you’re here to sing those words, to sing like that. You just gave the whole world a gift straight from the heart.” Selena Gomez, on the other hand, said, “I wish there were words to describe how beautiful, inspirational and DESERVED this moment was. Demi I’m so happy for you. Thank you for your courage and bravery.”
Following the performance of “Anyone”, which she described as a “cry for help,” Demi released the song and it soon topped iTunes on the all-genre U.S. song sales chart for four days straight. It also garnered one million streams worldwide in no time and became the most downloaded song in the U.S. on Grammy day with over 11,500 sales on the day of the show and more than 27,000 sales within 24 hours of her performance. Meanwhile, a video of the performance accumulated more than 9 million views in less than a week.
Given its performance in the daily music charts as well as the positive responses the song got, it was no brainer that “Anyone” started off pretty good in the weekly chart. The song debuted at No. 34 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and arrived atop Digital Song Sales chart. It marked Demi’s first No. 1 single on the chart.
Seeing all the loves she received over the song, Demi admitted in an interview that she is “grateful that the response has been so awesome” and thought that “people are able to hear that song for what it is, which is a very emotional plea for anyone listening.”

Super Bowl LIV: Fans Mesmerized by Demi Lovato's Stunning Rendition of National Anthem

The Disney alum’s performance of ‘Star Spangled Banner’ is so stunning that someone even dubs it the best one since Whitney Houston’s rendition during the 1991 Super Bowl.
    Feb 3, 2020
AceShowbiz – Super Bowl LIV has finally started. Following her emotional comeback performance at the Grammy Awards, Demi Lovato helped kick off the annual big game at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida on Sunday, February 3 by delivering a rousing rendition of the National Anthem.
Looking entirely confident as she took the field before the San Fransisco 49ers versus Kansas City Chiefs’ game, the former Disney darling brought her amazing vocals and completely nailed “Star Spangled Banner” in a chic white pantsuit. By the end of her performance, the audience could be heard cheering loudly for her.

Not only the audience, but viewers at home also couldn’t help but be mesmerized by Demi’s stunning performance. Someone even dubbed her rendition the best one since Whitney Houston’s at the 1991 Super Bowl. “I literally have goosebumps. That was SO BEAUTIFUL, Demi Lovato,” one person highly praised the singer, while another jokingly said, “Can’t believe they decided to play football at a Demi Lovato concert. So disrespectful.”
“Demi Lovato’s vocals were hitting harder than the hot spoon during the National Anthem,” one other commented. Even Niall Horan praised his fellow singer by saying, “Yessss Demi !!! Nailed it. Congratukations…” Meanwhile, even though she didn’t express her admiration on social media, Blue Ivy was spotted among the audience recording Demi’s performance. As for her superstar mom, Beyonce Knowles, she was seen singing along.

It was understandable why Demi decided to do her very best for the National Anthem performance. After all, it was something that she had been dreaming since a long time ago. Prior to her performance, she took to Instagram to share a tweet that she wrote ten years ago. It read, “One day, I’m gonna sing the national anthem at a super bowl. Onnee dayyy…” Demi captioned the post, “Stealing this from @scooterbraun. Dreams really do come true y’all.”
