    Feb 18, 2020
AceShowbiz – “The Bachelor” season 24 returned on Monday, February 17 for the long-awaited hometown dates. The episode saw Peter Weber visiting the hometowns of the Top 4, Victoria Fuller, Madison Prewett, Hannah Ann Sluss, and Kelsey Weier, in order to meet their families.
It kicked off with Peter and Hannah Ann heading to Knoxville, Tennessee to meet her family. At Hannah Ann’s house, Peter met her mom and dad as well as her siblings. Peter then had a sit down with her mother, telling her that Hannah Ann told him that she was starting to fall in love with him. The mother said to Peter that she just wanted her daughter happy.
Later, it was time for Peter to talk with Hannah Ann’s dad and it wasn’t easy. Her dad was extremely guarded. He asked Peter about his relationship with the other women and he told her dad that there was something real between him and Hannah Ann. He also revealed that he planned to tell her tonight that he was falling in love with her since he didn’t want Hannah Ann doubted his feelings. However, her dad told him not to say that to her unless he really meant it.
During their time alone, Peter told Hannah Ann that her father was a good man and he respected him. He then told her that he was falling in love with her, and they kissed.
The next hometown date was in Des Moines, Iowa, Kelsey’s hometown. That night, Peter met Kelsey’s mom Beth, his stepdad Mike and sisters Kalason and Kayla. Beth said to Peter that it must be hard for Kelsey to open up about her dad. She asked Peter not to break her daughter’s heart. Kelsey’s mom then added that he had her full support.
Peter later headed to Auburn, Alabama for a hometown date with Madison. The pair went to the the basketball arena and they shoot hoop-ed with head coach Bruce Pearl before meeting her family. During the meeting, they told Peter that they had a tradition where they sang praises for whoever had the “special plate.” Maddie was then given the plate and Peter shared that she inspired him every time they were together.
Madison’s mom then privately asked her if she had brought the intimacy issue with Peter because it made Madison feel uncomfortable. Meanwhile, Peter told Madison’s dad that he was willing to make an effort to be the man that Madison deserves. Her dad wanted Peter to say that he believed that Madison was the one for him and he couldn’t really do that.
The last hometown visit was in Virginia Beach where Peter met Victoria’s parents. However, before it started, the two accidentally met his ex-girlfriend Merissa Pence, who later warned him that Victoria wasn’t good for him.
Peter later confronted Victoria about what Merissa told him earlier and that made Victoria defensive. She accused Peter of thinking that what Merissa alleged about her was more important than meeting her parents. That led to Peter having a complicated feelings the next morning. Peter later told her he couldn’t make any decisions right now and he left without meeting Victoria’s family.
At the rose ceremony, rather unexpectedly, Peter gave the roses to Hannah Ann, Madison and Victoria. That meant that Kelsey was sent home.

'Bachelor' Recap: Find Out Which 4 Ladies Earn Hometown Dates With Peter Weber

    ABC

There are six women left on the show, but only four of them will get the chance to have hometown dates with the pilot in the upcoming episode of the ABC dating show.
    Feb 11, 2020
AceShowbiz – Peter Weber’s season of “The Bachelor” returned on Monday, February 10. There were six women, Natasha Parker, Madison Prewett, Victoria Fuller, Kelley Flanagan, Hannah Ann Sluss and Kelsey Weir, left on the show, but only four of them got the chance to have hometown dates with the pilot in the next episode.
Kicking off the new episode, Peter and the ladies went to Peru before he had his first one-on-one date with Madison. She convinced Peter that she was serious about having him in her future. Later during the dinner, she talked about how important family and faith is to her.
Peter told her that he felt like his faith could be stronger sometimes, but insisted that it’s still something that was very important to him. He also said to Madison that his feelings for her were super clear. Eventually, Peter gave Madison a rose which she happily accepted. That meant, Madison was among those whose family would get to meet Peter next week.
Next up for a one-on-one date was Natasha. She and Peter opted to explore a local town. Peter praised Natasha for being honest with him all season, though he wasn’t sure if they were at the level where he wanted to meet her family. Natasha insisted that she saw something special with him, but Peter didn’t feel the same way. At the end, he emilinated Natasha.
The final solo date was between Peter and Kelsey in which they had a fun day riding ATVs. During the date, they talked about their plans for kids and the future. She also opened up to Peter that she didn’t have a good relationship with his dad and he wouldn’t be at home if Peter went to her hometown. Peter respected Kelsey’s honesty and she got a rose.
Later, Hannah Ann, Kelley and Victoria enjoyed a three-on-one date. Peter had a chat with Hannah Ann first and she read him a list of reasons why she’s falling in love with Peter. Later with Kelley, she shared to Peter she was frustrated because she only got one on-on-one date. That prompted Peter to think if Hannah Ann was on the show just to have fun instead of searching for a husband.
It was then time for a moment with Victoria, but it was a bit weird. Despite having doubts, Peter still gave the rose to Victoria. Also joining for the hometown dates was Hannah Ann, meaning that Kelley was sent home.

'Bachelor' Recap: Peter Weber Sends Almost Half of the Ladies Home

    ABC

Peter and the remaining ten women in his season heads to Chile for the next dates, but before that, Peter has to step in to stop Mykenna and Victoria F. from fighting.
    Feb 6, 2020
AceShowbiz – “The Bachelor” season 24 aired its 6th episode on Wednesday, February 5. The episode saw Peter Weber making a huge decision to the remaining ten women who were vying for his heart on the ABC dating show.
They headed to Chile for the next dates, but before that, Peter had to step in to stop Mykenna and Victoria F. from fighting. He then asked Hannah Ann out for one-on-one date which marked her second already. Meanwhile, Mykenna, Natasha and Tammy hadyet to get a one-on-one.
Peter and Hannah Ann opted to explore Santiago, and at some point of their date, Peter told her about his concern when it came to her age as she’s only 23. The pilot admitted to being worried that Hannah Ann wouldn’t be ready for a lifelong commitment. Hannah Ann then approached him in tears and opened up that she’s “starting to fall in love” with Peter. Despite the concern, he gave Hannah Ann a rose.
Later, Sydney, Natasha, Kelsey, Victoria P, Madison, Tammy, Kelley and Mykenna were chosen for the group date. Meanwhile, Victoria F. got a second one-on-one because Peter thought her first solo date was interrupted with drama involving Victoria’s ex Chase Rice.
The decision didn’t sit well with Mykenna, who looked super upset. She considered going home and decided to stick around.
During the nighttime portion of the group date, Victoria P. had a great one-on-one time with Peter. Meanwhile, Tammy had a drama with Mykenna as the former thought that Mykenna was too young for the show. Peter was later involved, though he didn’t see the points that Tammy wanted to deliver. At the end of the date, Peter presented the rose to Madison.
Meanwhile, Peter and Victoria F. went for horseback riding. During the date, Victoria asked Peter about rumors of him dating so many other women. That prompted Peter to assure her that he felt very strongly for her. Later, it was announced that Mykenna and Tammy would be going for a 2-on-1 date with Peter. Both women talked bad about each other and eventually, Peter trusted in Mykenna and eliminated Tammy.
At the rose ceremony, Peter gave the remaining roses to Kelsey, Natasha and Kelley. That meant Mykenna and Sydney were forced to go home.

Cosmopolitan Cancels 'Bachelor' Cover Due to Victoria F.'s White Lives Matter Campaign

    ABC

Through a letter, editor-in-chief Jessica Piels explains why the Cosmo team has decided to pull cover featuring Victoria Fuller who competes on Peter Weber’s season of the ABC show.
    Feb 4, 2020
AceShowbiz – Peter Weber’s season of “The Bachelor” aired a new episode on Monday, February 3. During the episode, contestant Victoria Fuller won a chance to grace Cosmopolitan cover with Peter after winning a game during a group date in Costa Rica. However, the magazine has recently announced that the cover will no longer be published digitally.
Through a letter that was posted on Cosmo’s website on Monday, editor-in-chief Jessica Piels explained that the Cosmo team has decided to pull Victoria’s cover after photos of her surfacing of posing in “White Lives Matter” clothing surfaced online.
“As you probably know, the details about upcoming plot points on The Bachelor are as closely guarded as nuclear codes,” she wrote in the letter which was titled “Why We’re Not Publishing the Cosmo Bachelor Cover”. “When my team and I flew down to Costa Rica for our challenge, we weren’t told who our models were going to be. We didn’t even meet them until we were all on camera on-set, ready to start our shoot.”
“So when it came time for me to choose the winner of the challenge–whose prize was a digital cover of Cosmo–all I knew about the contestants were their first names and the energy they conveyed through the camera lens,” she went on saying.
“In my view, the nature of the organization is neither here nor there–both phrases and the belief systems they represent are rooted in racism and therefore problematic. Unequivocally, the White Lives Matter movement does not reflect the values of the Cosmo brand. We stand in solidarity with Black Lives Matter, and any cause that fights to end injustices for people of color,” she added.
Concluding the letter, Piels wrote, “My team and I had many long discussions about how we wanted to address this issue. We’d already printed the fashion shoot in our March issue, complete with an inset of the cover, and of course the episode had already been filmed. Ultimately what felt right was choosing not to publish the digital cover on our website or social feeds, and simply being honest with you, the audience we respect, about what happened and where we stand.”
Nor Victoria and ABC have yet to comment on the matter.

'Bachelor' Recap: Kelsey Is Exposed About Her Excessive Drinking and Alleged Popping Pills

    ABC

The three-hour episode of season 24 of the long-running NBC dating show features Peter Weber and his ladies heading to Costa Rica for some fun and romantic moments.
    Feb 4, 2020
AceShowbiz – “The Bachelor” season 24 will air two episodes this week. The first episode aired on its regular time Monday, February 3 before it continues on Wednesday. The Monday episode was surely big as it offered fans a three-hour episode featuring Peter Weber and his women heading to Costa Rica.
The episode picked up where things were left off last week as Peter was torn as he should make a decision about Alayah and Victoria P. Even though Alayah had a rose, Peter could still send her home and that was exactly he did. While Alayah was cool with it, the other ladies were shocked by Peter’s decision.
During the rose ceremony, Peter presented roses to Madison, Kelsey, Sydney, Natasha, Lexi, Hannah Ann, Victoria P, Victoria F, Mykenna, Shiann and Tammy. That meant Kiarra, Savannah and Deandra were eliminated.
They later jetted off to Costa Rica and that was where Peter informed the ladies that he was in a golf cart accident and got 22 stitches in his forehead. The first one-on-one date went to Sydney. The two took a helicopter ride over the amazing scenery before enjoying a picnic. They bonded as they talked about their respective heritages and things escalated with a makeout session. They continued their date with a lovely dinner and had some time alone a really fancy hot tub with a waterfall, where they once again sharing a heated moment.
Kelsey, meanwhile, was crying to Tammy because she didn’t like Peter spending time with Sydney. “I like Sydney, she’s cool. But she’s a dramatic b***h,” she told Tammy, who was shocked.
Later, Shiann, Kelsey, Victoria F., Madison, Natasha, Victoria P., Lexi, Hannah Ann, Tammy and Mykenna were picked for a group date. They did a swimsuit photoshoot for Cosmopolitan, and the winner would get actually be on the cover of Cosmo with Peter. The ladies went in pairs and Victoria F. stole the show as she made out with Peter during their trio scene. Eventually, Victoria F. won the prize.
During the night portion of the date, Kelsey told Peter that she’s falling in love with him and that made it so hard for her to see him with others. Peter then assured her, saying that he felt strongly for her and that was when they made out.
Meanwhile, Victoria F. filled in Tammy about Kelsey declaring herself as the realest b***h among the other ladies, who she deemed fake. That surprised Tammy because she had been comforting her. The revelation prompted Tammy to tell Peter that Kelsey had been drinking excessively and it didn’t take long before Peter confronted Kelsey about her “emotional breakdown.”
Kelsey was upset and confronted the other ladies. At the end of the group date, Peter gave the rose to Hannah Ann.
Peter then had a solo date with Kelly where they got to do a cleansing ritual and meditation as they light some candles. They had a good time together and she got a rose from Peter.
Later Kelsey went to Peter to tell him about the rumors that Tammy was allegedly spreading about her. She said that Tammy spread rumors saying that she was drinking too much and that she was popping pills, the latter of which was shocking because Tammy didn’t say anything about pills on camera. Peter believed in Kelsey and gave her a rose right away.
Host Chris Harrison then appeared to tell the ladies that there wouldn’t be a cocktail party that night as they headed straight to the rose ceremony. But before that, Tammy asked Kelsey about what she told to Peter and Kelsey eventually told the truth.
Tammy denied saying anything about pills, but the other ladies claimed that Tammy did. However, Tammy insisted that she was just repeating what Victoria P. said. After some crying moment, Peter handed roses to Victoria F, Madison, Natasha, Victoria P, Mykenna, and Tammy. Shiann and Lexi were sent home.

'Bachelor' Recap: Ladies Slam Peter Weber for Inviting Alayah Back to the Show

    ABC/Jason A LaVeris

The pilot admits to the other women that he previously felt pressured into sending Alayah home in the previous episode, so now he decides to get her to return to the show.
    Jan 28, 2020
AceShowbiz – “The Bachelor” returned with a new episode on Monday, January 27. The new one saw Peter Weber regretting his decision to send Alayah home in the previous episode. That prompted him to try to get her back on the show, much to the other women’s dismay.
The episode kicked off with a one-on-one between Peter and Victoria F. They spent time at an amusement park before going to a Chase Rice concert. That was uncomfortable for Victoria as she used to date Chase. At some point, Victoria pulled Chase aside to talk about the awkward encounter.
She told him that she couldn’t lie to Peter about her past and Chase encouraged her to do what she felt was right and so she did. She freaked out, afraid that Peter wouldn’t change his mind about her after the revelation. However, Peter assured her that would not happen and he even presented her with a rose.
During the group date with Victoria P., Kiarra, Kelly, Deandra, Madison, Lexi, Shiann, Tammy, Sydney, Hannah Ann, Savannah and Mykenna, Alayah made a return to set the record straight about her relationship with Victoria P. She said the former Miss USA contestants took a trip to Vegas together. When Peter confronted Victoria about the claim, and she admitted that was accurate before adding, “My truth is the truth.”
Peter then shared that he previously was felt pressured into sending Alayah home. So he decided to invite her to return to the show and even gave her the group date rose. That didn’t sit well with the ladies, especially Natasha and Deandra who slammed Peter over it during the cocktail party.
“Can I say something really quick? I’m sorry Peter, but I’ve never felt so under-recognized by somebody. And for us… who busted our ass out there on the football field and literally have the physical bruises to show, and then for you to come to the cocktail party and ignore us, half of us, who didn’t get time, and then walk in hand-in-hand with Alayah, it was like the biggest slap in the face. Like, I couldn’t even look at you,” Deandra said.
At the end, Alayah cried as she felt like she was “literally just getting torn to shreds” by the other women.
Also in the episode, Peter had a one-on-one date with Kelsey following the ChampagneGate. During the date, she opened up about how her parents’ divorce affected her. Peter eventually gave her a rose.
